Its first down and goal, lets all gather for our own Super Bowl at The Arc from 6:30pm to 8:30pm! Come join us for tons of fun as we round up the guys and gals for a little flag football, football relay races, football toss and much, much more. There are prizes to win! Not in the mood to play flag football, grab a pom pom and cheer for your team. You will be making your own sundae for snack and beverages will be served as well! Reservations Required by Monday, January 30, 2012. Fee will be $5.00

Valentine’s Day Dance! Bring your sweetheart or be a sweetheart at Keystone College, Evan Hall-Hibbard Campus from 6:00pm to 8:00pm We will provide the music, and refreshments will be provided by Keystone College. Reservations Required by Monday, February 6, 2012. Fee will be $3.00 (NOTE: DANCE TIME IS 6:00PM TO 8:00PM)

Let us Celebrate Mardi Gras Bourbon Style! What is Mardi Gras, how did it start? Learn about the History of Mardi Gras. Make your own mask. Wear your mask and we will have our own Masquerade Ball! Toss beads and trinkets, play games, win prizes and have fun at The Arc! Who needs fat Tuesday when we can have Fat Thursday? We will be Serving Mardi Gras’ King Cake and Punch. Reservations required by Monday, February 13, 2012. Fee will be $5.00

He’s coming back and you are cordially invited to one of the best juggling shows around at The Arc from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Come and watch the Magnificent Juggler Robert Smith as he puts on a juggling act using balls, clubs, rings, baseball bats, bowling ball, tennis rackets, and knives. We will be serving snacks and beverages! Reservations required by Monday, February 20, 2012. Fee will be $6.00. **Everyone must pay, that includes family members, guardian and staff.**

March 3rd is American’s National Anthem Holiday! We will be honoring America at The Arc from 6:30pm to 8:30pm! We will be celebrating by learning the history of “The Star Spangled Banner” and singing it! We will be playing some Patriotic games such as Red, White and Blue ring toss, pin the beard on Uncle Sam and a patriotic bean bag game. American flags, windmills and fans will be the prizes. All American Hot Dogs and chips will be served! Fee will be $5.00 Reservations must be made by Monday, February 27th.

Arc Idol Night Contest at The Arc! Show us your talents either alone or as a group. Whether you dance, sing, play the guitar, do magic tricks, perform impersonations or if you have any other talent! Registration will begin at 6:00pm, the contest will begin at 6:30pm and end approximately at 8:30pm. (Note time change for registration) Feel free to bring your own Karaoke CD (Please put your name on your CD) Prizes will be awarded to the top three performers! Snacks and beverages will be served. Fee will be $6.00 Reservations must be made by Monday, March 5th.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day at The Arc from 6:30pm to 8:30pm! St. Patrick's Day is an enchanted time - a day to begin transforming winter's dreams into summer's magic. ~Adrienne Cooke. We will all be participating in “The Arc’s Second Irish Crawl”! Each room will be filled with Irish Pride! The 1st room is color an Irish picture! Room 2 - pose in a Shamrock or next to a Leprechaun for a photo. Room 3 - get a tattoo and in room 4 - toss a gold coin into a pot of gold and win a chocolate coin! Hats, beads and much, much more! We will end the night with an “Irish Sing Along”, and Irish Desserts! Fee $5.00 Reservations must be made by Monday, March 12th.

Let’s go to the hop at the University of Scranton Long Center from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. Poodle skirts, saddle shoes, blue jeans, white socks and t-shirts oh my! Wear your favorite 50’s outfit or come as you are! We are having a Sock Hop! The sock hops were informal dances at American Schools, typically held in the school's own gym. The dances featured music from the 1950s such as the bop, the swing, the twist, the pony, the swim. and early rock and roll. The music was usually records, sometimes presented by a DJ. Sock hops are a big part of our American history as you will learn more at the hop! Reservations must be made by Monday, March 19th Snacks and Drinks – Fee $3.00

*All Recreational Events will be from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, unless noted otherwise.

The Arc Recreation will announce any closings or cancellations of programs due to inclement weather on the following radio stations: WARM 590AM, MAGIC 93.92.9FM and 107.7FM Or Call The Arc at
