New Brochure Meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of the month. Primary Purpose: The primary purpose of the Right to Education Local Task Force (LTF #19) is to make recommendations that assist in improving, expanding and monitoring programs and services for school aged children who are eligible and entitled to special education supports and services. The LTF #19 includes family, educators, providers and professional representation from The Arc of Northeastern Pennsylvania, NEIU #19, Lackawanna, Susquehanna and Wayne County administrators. Together, this group works to plan for opportunities to ensure children receive individualized free, appropriate public education. The LTF’s dedicated leadership is committed to work cooperatively and creatively with school districts. The LTF will facilitate a supportive community network that will assure all young adults will transition with necessary skills, confidence and genuine sense of belonging.
